about : herff
herff is a silly nickname that mike gave me when i was a sophomore in highschool. it was nearing summer vacation and the name originated from all the posters lining the halls for the class ring company, but now there's no relation/relevance to herff jones at all. mike and i were some of those people who, in highschool, didn't use real words to communicate, but created puns and jive for everything (e.g. 'As am I' would be pronouced, 'Asimov'). herff soon became herffjerie and later herjemaroof, among other pet names. All our friends had fancy names. I think this was because we never really talked to eachother and felt awkward about it.
i spend most of my time in anacortes- the town i grew up in. i am currently under-employed, making ends meet by occasionally helping friends with random tasks. as a result, i'm hopelessly broke and depressed.
